Catch the Wild, Untamed Magic of Idaho’s Salmon River
Experience one of America’s most iconic wilderness rivers—the Main Salmon, “The River of No Return”—on a women-led, fully supported rafting adventure. Your journey begins and ends in Boise, Idaho, with charter flights whisking you directly to Salmon, Idaho, saving you hours of driving and adding a layer of ease and comfort rare in multi-day rafting trips. Spend your first night in a hotel in Salmon, then push off into five unforgettable days of rafting, canyon sunsets, sandy beach camps, and the empowering experience of traveling in a sisterhood of adventurous women. The group will be flown back to Boise from the river on a private charter flight at the end of the trip.
This river adventure is intentionally created as a women-centered & LGBTQ+-welcoming trip—designed to be a safe, joyful, affirming space for all women and gender-expansive folks who feel comfortable in a women-centered community.

Where: 📍Boise, Idaho (start and end of trip), Main Salmon River
Activities: Whitewater rafting, camping, relaxation, unplugged time in nature
Group Size: 16-22 people

- Activity Time: 4 - 8 hours
- Distance/Elevation: 15-20 miles per day on a boat
- Terrain: May include uneven surfaces like rocks and sand to get to and from the boats and campsites.
- Activities Include: Whitewater rafting, camping, hiking, swimming
- Preparation: This trip is designed for anyone wanting to spend time about outdoors, on a river, camping in nature, and accessing beautiful sights further away from the parking lot. Suitable for beginners and those with some experience.

Why have we identified this trip as a women-centered & LGBTQ+ trip? All of our trips welcome women of all ages, races, sizes, backgrounds, and skill levels, and our friends of all gender identities and expressions, who are seeking a women-centered space. Our LGBTQ+ trips are planned specifically with the LGBTQ+ traveler in mind and we have done work up front to ensure a welcoming experience for all. We identify locations and partners that also support the LGBTQ+ community, we create a trip specific travel guide to help travelers make an informed decision if the trip is right for them, and we share additional resources specific to helping prepare for travel as a LGBTQ+ traveler. Our river guide partner* and charter airlines company are both women-owned and LGBTQ+ allies ensuring that our river experience will be welcoming for all from start to finish.
